The Haiti Hospital Resurrection Fund (HHRF) announced today that it has partnered with expert Miami-based disaster and emergency physician, Dr. Sergio Segarra, who brings over 20 years of extensive experience to the HHRF team. Dr. Segarra will personally visit Haiti within the next three days to assess the conditions and help to prepare for HHRF’s hospital resurrection efforts.

Haiti Hospital Resurrection Fund Partners With Project C.U.R.E. for Response and Recovery in Haiti

HHRF has partnered with Project C.U.R.E. to leverage the nonprofit’s extensive experience enhancing healthcare infrastructure in developing countries worldwide. Concerning Haiti specifically, the charities will work together to rebuild the damaged healthcare facilities in Haiti. After the emergency ends, HHRF and Project C.U.R.E. will continue to work towards the long-term recovery and resurrection of Haiti’s hospitals.

Portland, Oregon based Children’s Healing Art Project (CHAP), announces the First Annual International Bacon Boy Day of Art & Bacon Festival September 5-7. CHAP brings the healing power of art to children and their families in crisis, and celebrates kids for their artistic talents rather than their disease, diagnosis or disability. CHAP works with more than 10,000 children a year in and out of Portland hospitals.
