Cap & Kudler Have Filed Suit in a Case of Legionnaires' Disease in Las Vegas

Las Vegas law firm Cap & Kudler have filed suit on behalf of a Canadian tourist, who was diagnosed with Legionnaires’ disease, after a 2007 visit to Las Vegas.

Las Vegas, NV – September 7, 2009 (PressReleasePivot) — The Las Vegas Personal Injury Lawyers at Cap & Kudler have filed suit in Clark County District Court against the owners of the Sahara Hotel and Hilton Grand Vacations Club on the Las Vegas Strip, on behalf of a client who contracted Legionnaires’ disease.

The client, a tourist visiting Las Vegas, Nevada from Quebec, Canada came to Las Vegas for a vacation in July, 2007. He stayed at the Sahara Hotel upon his arrival, before spending the latter part of his vacation at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club on the Las Vegas Strip.

Since returning home to Canada, he has been diagnosed with Legionnaires’ disease and has developed severe symptoms. His case was so bad that doctors were unsure of his chances of survival during his initial hospitalization. The disease has completely changed his life and personality.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, between 8,000 and 18,000 people in America are hospitalized each year with Legionnaires’ disease.
